The tax control unit built in the cash register contains the accounting certificates with the data content prescribed by legal regulations and the relating electronic records and ensures encrypted data communication between the cash register and NAV (HU TA).
As of 1 January 2015, the taxable persons obliged to use cash registers may only operate online cash registers.
