Madarasiné Dr. Szirmai Andrea is a Quality and Risk Lead Advisor, registered auditor, and an expert holding IFRS and sustainability qualifications, with several decades of experience in accounting, auditing, IFRS and higher education. Throughout her professional career, she has been involved in the audits of Hungarian and international companies, IFRS and Hungarian accounting advisory projects, as well as the professional support and quality control of sustainability assurance engagements. She regularly delivers corporate workshops on IFRS and Hungarian accounting for a wide range of companies and public-sector organisations.
She has been a member of the Hungarian Chamber of Auditors since 1999. She also plays an active role in the professional community as an advisor to the Chamber’s Consultation Service and as a member of its Education Committee.
Andrea has extensive experience in higher education. In addition to teaching at the Budapest University of Economics and Business, she held several middle-management positions, serving as Vice-Dean for International and Scientific Affairs and as Head of Institute.

She presents complex accounting, IFRS and sustainability requirements in a clear, logical and easy-to-understand manner. Her teaching style is interactive and energetic, centred on participant engagement, practical examples and collaborative thinking.
