Who and when should apply for an EKAER (Electronic Road Transportation Control System) number?

News hot of the press – the Hungarian government plans to introduce threshold of 2 M HUF or 2500 kgs to be reportable into the EKAER (Road Trade Control System) from 1 January 2015.

According to our information, the test version of the EKAER system will be available for companies from 20 December and the grace period will expire at the end of January.

The following table, based on the draft version published on 10 December 2014, summarises who and in what cases should apply for an EKAER number.

She has advised private individuals with special regard to the taxation of foreign film cast and crew and provided advisory on the particularities of the Hungarian film tax rebate system. Her clients are mainly from the (fossil and renewable) energy sector, production companies and the media & entertainment industry.
