The big day is almost here!
On the morning of 30 July 2026, Kékszalag Sailing Race (Blue Ribbon Regatta) will set off, and the RSM VIP Boat will also depart from Balatonfüred. We have collected the most important information about the event below, and we look forward to welcoming you on board!
Location
The RSM VIP Boat will depart from the BAHART Marina, Balatonfüred harbour, ahead of the official race start.
Our guests will be welcomed aboard the BALATON catamaran, where both the open upper deck and the enclosed lower deck provide an excellent setting for following the race in comfort. We will watch the start from the water, then track the leading boats as they head towards Kenese and Siófok.
Check-in
30 July 2026, between 7:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
Guests are welcome to arrive at Balatonfüred Marina, where boarding will begin after a brief registration.
As the VIP boat must leave the harbour before the race begins, we kindly ask you to arrive on time and allow extra time for parking as well.

Departure
The Balaton Catamaran departs from Balatonfüred Harbour at 8:00 a.m.
Please allow time for a brief registration upon arrival, as the VIP boat must leave the harbour ahead of the Kékszalag racing fleet.
Dress code
We recommend comfortable, breathable attire suited to the informal nature of the event and the weather, so that all our guests can feel at ease on board, whether in the heat or in breezier conditions. This is also how the RSM hospitality team will be welcoming you on deck.
Part of the deck is shaded, but the vessel is open-air, so given the expected strong sunshine, a hat or cap and sunglasses may also prove useful.
Catering – What to Bring
We will provide refreshments and a selection of sweet and savoury delicacies throughout the event, so you will not need cash or a bank card on board. Our guests and partners will be welcomed with breakfast bites, finger food, a buffet lunch, refreshments, a cocktail and champagne bar, as well as a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.
From the deck of the Balaton Catamaran, we will follow the start of the Kékszalag fleet and the race segment taking place in the eastern basin of Lake Balaton. Expert commentary will help guests follow the action, while our exclusive DJ will ensure a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere throughout the event.
